Type rating Issuance / Additional / Transfer for Pilot Tab

1. Type Rating Multi Pilot Airplane Issuance / Additional

  • Cover letter from TRTO for type rating multi pilot airplane issuance.
  • Type Rating Multi Pilot Airplane Issuance / Additional Application Form
  • Copy of JCAR Flight Crew License PPL/CPL/MPL/ATPL.
  • Copy of FCL attachment - applicant hold or have held a multi engine instrument rating IR (A).
  • Copy of valid JCAR medical certificate.
  • Certified copy of related logbook pages.
  • Copy of multi crew cooperation (MCC) course satisfactory completion certificate. (first time type rating only)
  • Copy of valid JCAR ATPL theoretical knowledge examination pass certificate for first time type rating; or
  • Copy of valid JCAR ATPL theoretical knowledge examination pass certificate for CPL/IR holders applying for other than first time type rating if the applicant never held JCAR ATPL theoretical knowledge examination pass certificate; or
  • Copy of JCAR ATPL theoretical knowledge examination pass certificate for CPL/IR holders.
  • Copy of AOC holder flight simulator user approval – CARC/Authority. (ZFT only)
  • Copy of theoretical knowledge instruction training record.
  • Copy of theoretical examination for type rating.
  • Copy of flight instruction training records.
  • Copy of airplane base training records, if applicable. (not applicable for ZFT)
  • Copy of Justification for flight training hour's credit for the applicant previous experience. ( if applicable)
  • Copy of type rating multi-pilot airplane skill test.
2. Type/Class rating Transfer
  • The applicant shall hold a valid ICAO contracting state license
  • A valid class/ type rating contained in a license issued by an ICAO contracting state.
  • Valid an ICAO contracting state license proficiency check.
  • Valid an ICAO contracting state medical CLASS 1.
  • The applicant is in current flying practice. (Recency within 90 Days).
  • The applicant has not less than (500) hours flying experience as a pilot on that type, or for class rating not less than (100) hours flying experience as a pilot on that Class.
  • License issued by an ICAO contracting state subjected to authentication.
  • Copy of certified stamped logbook.
  • Valid an ICAO contracting state English level minimum level ( 4)
  • The Applicant shall hold MCC (if applicable)
  • The applicant shall meet JCAR-FCL 1.250, 1.251, 1.255 or 1.260 as applicable.
  • The applicant shall hold JCARFCL 1 license.
  • The applicant shall hold JCARFCL 1 ATPL Theoretical knowledge (for applicant who hold JCAR CPL/IR).
  • The applicant shall hold JCARFCL 1 valid English level minimum level (4).
  • The applicant shall hold JCARFCL 1 medical CLASS 1.
  • The applicant who hold CPL/IR shall meet JCARFCL 1 requirements before type transfer / Pass (14) Exams.
  • The applicant subjected to type rating skill test in approved training organization under super vision of CARC Inspector, or to delegate this task in case by case to the senior examiner.
  • The skill test for type transfer shall be separate from the license upgrade from CPL/IR to ATPL providing that the applicant shall meet JCARFCL 1 requirements and the skill test shall be in an approved training organization under the super vision of CARC inspector.
